Our children offer us our greatest opportunity at spiritual transformation.

Our children offer us our greatest opportunity at spiritual transformation. Through their reflections of our deepest wounds, greatest challenges, and deepest fears they ask us to surrender to love and compassion and to return to a trust of life. Spiritual growth sounds glamorous but it's really hard work, especially if you are going at it alone! That is why I created Fireweed Learning Community.

Welcome to Virtual Fireweed Learning Community!
FLC is for parents who want to heal themselves to return home to their children.
It's a place where we come together as a community of parents committed to raising children
with critical thinking skills, strong trust of their own intuition,
a deep connection to the Earth and a fierce commitment to stand up for what they believe in.

In order to raise children in this way we need a network of others to help us navigate the unchartered waters, the many ways we may veer from a standard path, and to remind us why we are committed to this way of child rearing when the going gets tough.

This experience is for you (and your family if you wish) if you:

are looking for a safe community to grow spiritually in nature
want to understand nature in a deeper way
desire to understand better ways to find food and medicine in nature
are curious about plants and their uses
desire a way to connect with other families who are nature oriented
want to become more familiar with nature and all of its wonders
enjoy hands on learning with your children at home and out in nature with your family

This Fall in our Fireweed Learning Community,
we will explore together VIRTUALLY as well as INDEPENDENTLY through guided learning content opportunities.

Together we meet as parents (virtually) to explore philosophies,
to expand our mindset or limiting beliefs and to share resources and tools and to grow together as a collective.

We will explore the following:
✔ the Wheel of the Year teachings for Mabon and Samhain
✔ moon cycles and astrological influences
✔  tune into all of the ways we can learn seasonally with Nature

By signing up for this seasonal membership, you will have access to:
✱ a private Facebook group to connect and learn with our community
✱ an online membership portal with learning and exploration prompts and activities
✱ recommended topical book lists
✱ a curated seasonal Spotify playlist
✱ 6 virtual parent connection events between Sept - Dec 2021
✱ 6 virtual kid connection events between Sept - Dec 2021
(at least three of these kid connect calls will be a guest call where we learn from a sanctuary,
environmentalist or some other fun informative offering designed to excite them about the natural world)
